The Challenge

The first aspiration under the Agenda 2063 led by the African Union envisions a prosperous Africa based on inclusive growth and sustainable development. Encapsulated within this aspiration, the objective of having a well-educated citizens and skilled revolution underpinned by Science, Technology and Innovation finds expression. Skills are a critical building block for a prosperous and sustainable economy and Africa is no different. In order for Africa to become more prosperous in the future, it has to aggressively invest in its capability to participate and to contribute to the modern digital economy.
